Outdoor Learning

Every chance we get we the take the opportunity to step outside and let the children explore the great outdoors with confidence and laughter.

At Nurtured Nursery the children are given the chance to climb, run and balance. This helps develop their coordination as well as their gross and fine motor skills while, at the same time, lets them test their physical boundaries.

They are able to learn about and engage with nature, grow plants and vegetables in the school vegetable plot, play team games and build dens. They do this through daily outdoor play and weekly Forest School at the designated Forest School area within the school grounds.
